Sea & Mountain Adventures is a Finnish family-owned company that has been providing high-quality nature experiences and event services since 1994. In 2024, we proudly celebrate our 30th anniversary – and our journey continues with passion, dedication, and strong sustainable values.
Our specialties include retreat-style meetings, private events, forest-inspired dining in a kota or villa, and unique accommodation close to nature. We create moments that last – and leave behind nothing but footprints in the forest.
Atmospheric venues surrounded by nature
We offer three unique and nature-connected venues near the Helsinki region:
🌲 Karhunpesä – a traditional log villa by Nuuksio National Park
🔥 White Reindeer Kota – a firelit dining lodge surrounded by reindeer
🌊 Villa Kotkankallio – a spacious stone and log villa in coastal Porkkala
All our venues are always exclusively reserved for one group at a time, guaranteeing complete privacy and peace. Karhunpesä can also be rented for independent use without additional services.
Nuuksio Reindeer Park – A Touch of Lapland in the South
On the grounds of Karhunpesä, you’ll find Finland’s southernmost reindeer park, where you can meet the reindeer up close and enjoy coffee or a multi-course dinner in our White Reindeer Kota. The park is part of our service offering and is open to the public, mainly on weekends.

To us, every guest is special, and every event is unique. We take the time to understand your needs and tailor your day accordingly – whether it’s a meeting, a celebration, or simply time to slow down in nature.
You’ll never have to share the space – only one group is hosted at a time.
Activities for every season
Our year-round activity programs take you safely into the wild – whether it’s high ropes, snowshoeing, canoeing, or feeding the reindeer. All activities are guided by trained professionals, and planned with responsibility and safety first.

Flavours from the Forest
Our meals are prepared on-site using seasonal and local ingredients. Our menus reflect the authenticity of the Nordic forest – and we carefully accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies announced in advance.
Sustainability at the core of everything we do
We are committed to sustainable nature tourism. Sea & Mountain Adventures holds both the Sustainable Travel Finland label and the Good Travel Seal – official recognitions of our long-term work in responsible tourism.
We are also an active member of the Nuuksio Lakeland cooperative, which promotes sustainable regional tourism through collaboration.
