Arrival to Nuuksio:

We recommend arriving by public transportation or shared transportation to reduce emissions and to prevent traffic congestion on Nuuksiontie. Parking spaces at our premises are also limited.

Public transportation:
Nuuksiontie 77/83

A single ticket for zone ABC can be purchased from HSL ticket machines, card service points, or via the HSL app. Tickets are not sold on trains or buses.

Helsinki - Nuuksio:

Take the commuter trains U, E, or L from Helsinki to Espoo Centre, then transfer to bus 245(A) heading to Nuuksio. The bus stop for route 245(A) (platform 32) is located right next to the railway tracks. The bus schedule is coordinated with the train timetable, but note that the bus runs less frequently.

Get off at the bus stop PUNJONSUO, which is the nearest stop for Safaritalo, Karhunpesä, and Nuuksio Reindeer Park (two stops beyond the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia). The stop is located near Safaritalo. To reach Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park, walk approximately 400 meters further and turn right immediately after the pedestrian crossing. There is a sign at the intersection for Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park.

Driving directions:
Nuuksiontie 77/83

Turku motorway - Nupurintie (old Turuntie) - Nuuksiontie

30 km from Helsinki and the airport, 1 km from the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia.

Exit from Turun moottoritie (road number 1) near Ikea, going uphill and to the right. Turn left at the second traffic light intersection towards Veikkola, under the Kehä III (Ring III) onto Nupurintie (road number 110). Drive approximately 5 km and turn right towards Nuuksio/Solvalla. Pass by Finland's Nature Center Haltia for about 700 m, and you'll reach Safai House, just after the ski slope, on the right. There is a private parking area.

When driving forward from Safaritalo for about 400 m (approximately 1 km from Finland's Nature Center Haltia), you'll reach Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park. There's a sign at the intersection: Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park. There's a small private parking area.

A larger parking area is located in front of Finland's Nature Center Haltia, about 700 m before Safaritalo and about 1 km before Karhunpesä and the reindeer park.

NOTE! Parking on private roads is strictly prohibited. Residents must have access to their properties, and snowplows need to clear private roads freely during winter.

Arrival at Villa Kotkankallio in Porkkala
Torsnäsintie 82, 02480 Kirkkonummi
45 km / 45 min from Helsinki

Drive along Jorvaksentie (Road 51) towards Hanko and turn left onto Porkkalantie (Porkkala Peninsula) before reaching Kirkkonummi. Continue on Porkkalantie for 14 km and turn left onto Bölentie. Drive 1,1 km on Bölentie and turn right onto Läntinen Bölentie. Continue for 500 m and turn right onto Torsnäsintie. Drive 750 m on Torsnäsintie and turn left through the first gate into the yard, where private parking is available. Additional parking spaces can be found by entering through the next gate.

Note! Parking on Torsnäsintie or the private roads is strictly prohibited. We recommend using a smaller bus for group transportation, as there is no turning area for a full-sized bus on the narrow Torsnäsintie, and turning through the gate into the yard is also challenging.
