Spend the night in a one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly Igluhut at Nuuksio Reindeer Park, where you can feed reindeer right from your hut’s window. Our guide will also take you inside the fenced reindeer area for a hands-on feeding experience and photo opportunities, while sharing fascinating insights about reindeer.
The handcrafted Igluhuts are made from natural materials and features a unique design that blends traditional shingle craftsmanship with modern techniques. The exterior is covered with spruce shingles, while the interior is beautifully crafted from over 2,500 aspen shingles.
The Igluhut accommodates two guests in a cozy double bed and includes linen, an eco-friendly toilet and a sink for handwashing, a summer-season shower on the outdoor terrace, electric heating, a mini fridge for your own snacks, an electric kettle, a pressure cooker, coffee/tea/water, and an outdoor grill (available in summer). You’ll also receive a bucket of lichen to feed the reindeer. We offer two 2-person Igluhuts: Naava and Pihka.
