PRIVATE VISITS AND PROGRAMS AT THE NUUKSIO REINDEER PARK
Welcome to Finland's southernmost reindeer park in Nuuksio! Reindeer is a semi-wild animal which lives in northern Finland, in Lapland. Now you have possibility to meet and feed reindeer only about 30 km / 30 minutes drive from Helsinki city center or from Helsinki-Vantaa airport. There is an atmospheric Lappish shelter "kota" in the area where you can have coffee, lunch or three-course dinner over an open fire. Kota is furnished with rustic wooden tables and benches and reindeer skins. There is room for about 35 people at a time for diners, just coffee + bun service is possible for larger group also. Forest terrace gives extra space during summer season. The reindeer park is open for groups by reservation. Please check public opening hours during summer and winter season from here.
1. Visit at the Nuuksio Reindeer Park
Price includes a private guided visit, lichen for the reindeer, coffee (tea, juice) + bun over an open fire in the atmospheric Lappish "kota" (hut).

2. Hiking from Haltia to the reindeer park
Experience a touch of northern magic on our hiking tour from the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia to Nuuksio reindeer park. Hiking will be carried out along forest paths which are easy to walk. Guide will tell about flora and fauna on the way. We will arrive to the reindeer park from the forest gate. You can see the reindeer at close range, feed them and take photos. You can also try on "suopunki" (lasso) throwing to a wooden reindeer's antlers. Coffee (tea/juice) and bun is served in our cozy Lappish kotarestaurant "White Reindeer" by the fire. Small souvenir shop is open.

3. Hiking with a reindeer in the Nuuksio National Park
A peaceful walking tour with a reindeer in the beautiful national park. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and clean air. In the end you will meet also other reindeer in the park and you can feed them. You can try on lasso throwing to a wooden reindeer's antlers (typical Sami way to catch a reindeer in Lappland fells). Sausage grilling with coffee will be enjoyed over an open fire in an atmospheric "kota" (tepee).

4. Meet Santa Claus and reindeer in Nuuksio
Welcome to meet the reindeer and Santa Claus at Nuuksio Reindeer Park. The minibus will pick you up from your hotel at agreed time. The visit includes feeding the reindeer, meeting Santa, coffee (tea) and bun over an open fire in an atmospheric Lappish hut "White Reindeer". The hut is furnished with rustic wooden tables and benches and reindeer skins. You will also get a small gift from Santa. Minibus service back to the hotel.
Duration: 1 hour at the park + transportations about 1-1,5 hours

5. An exotic lunch or dinner in White Reindeer "kota"
Enjoy an exotic lunch or dinner with reindeer in Nuuksio! An atmospheric Lappish "kota" (tepee) is located in the reindeer park so you can see and feed the reindeer while having lunch or dinner over an open fire. Kota is fully licensed. The White Reindeer kota is suitable for meeting also and it's wonderful place to keep the wedding!

Terms of payment:
After booking a tour, we will send you an order confirmation by e-mail and a deposit of 150 € shall be paid as confirmation fee. The final number of participants will be confirmed 10 days before the event and the final payment must be done 7 days before the event. Reservations which are made later then 7 days before the visit, payment in cash or by credit card on the spot is possible.
Cancellation terms:
Cancellation 30 days before the event, deposit of 150 € is non-refundable. Cancellation 29-7 days before, 50% of the the confirmed order is charged. Cancellation less than 7 days before the event, whole amount 100% will be charged.
Insurances:
Sea & Mountain Adventures Ltd. has a liability insurance. All activity programs have their own safety and rescue plans. Sea & Mountain Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for the damages or accidents caused by a customer himself during the event.
